The Territory Sales Manager is a hands-on sales position, focusing
on new business pursuit. You will be the primary business contact
with new customer prospects in the assigned region. Warm leads may
come from outsourced lead generation and marketing. You will be
selling locally. Must have 5 years of outside sales experience
(B2B), to include new account/customer development, selling in a
technical engineering environment to the Aerospace/Defense and or
other regulated industries. Ideally we want people who have sold
engineering products or services to product manufacturers
(companies that would need independent testing performed on their
products before being released to go to market).
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Identify opportunities within prospect accounts through outbound
calls, communications, programs and other activities as needed.
Accurately qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline. Lead
follow-up within 1hr of receipt of inquiry
Generate new business by presenting and selling company products
and services to potential customers. Prepare presentations for
customers. Build trusted relationships with customers. Engage in
technical discussions with potential clients with the use of UVP
(unique value proposition) to help solidify and generation
Prepare action plans and schedules to identify targets needed to
reach goals. Research and analyze prospective customer. Develop and
maintain accurate contacts and prospects database and keep
management informed of all activity, including timely preparation
of reports. Execute Sales Reporting: weekly, monthly, quarterly,
Execute effective and timely follow up or introductory contact upon
receipt of RFQs (request for quote) through closure and PO
issuance. Assist AE s and GM in generating and delivering quotes in
a timely manner.
Optimize capture management by effectively collaborating with both
local Site Operations and Application Engineering (AE) through NTS
Site Engagement practices. Support weekly Capture Meetings with the
goal of aligning Operations, AE s and Sales Management to the sales
Participate in meetings, and take responsibility for sales
improvement initiatives and other assigned activities.
Performs other duties as required.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
* Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship and able
to pass a drug test and an extensive background check and DMV
* Must be local
* Must have 5 years of outside sales experience (B2B), to include
new account/customer development, selling in a technical
engineering environment to the Aerospace/Defense industries.
Ideally we want people who have sold engineering products or
services to product manufacturers that need testing on their
products before they can go to market.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and interaction skills
* Must be a solid team player
Excellent oral communication skills, with charismatic, resilient,
persuasive, glass half full demeanor, active listening, and verbal
and written communication skills
Must be computer literate (MS Office Suite) and have experience
with a CRM
Understanding of Business to Business sales strategies
Strong research skills and resourcefulness
- Ability to grasp technical information. Must have technical
knowledge and acumen in order to better understand NTS
Ability to create lead generation
Proven time management skills
The ability to self-motivate
General Office Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is
