of our team's future success!----SUMMARY: The SG&A Overhead
Senior Analyst will lead the monthly close process for Sales,
General & Administrative costs, create the annual overhead budget
based on input from Leadership Team and provide monthly overhead
reporting for the Mizkan America organization.--In addition, this
position provides detailed analysis, interpretation and evaluation
of data to identify overhead issues, risks and opportunities. This
position plays a key role in engaging functional leaders by
highlighting issues identified and ensuring clear communication of
actual results vs. budget.--ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES:--Lead transition to D365 for SG&A overheads
to ensure efficient overhead budgeting process is created,
appropriate OH accounts are included, corporate cost centers are
rolling up correctly, & overhead subcategories are created that
combine correct accounts.Ensure overhead reporting consistency
throughout the transition to D365 and ensure department leads
understand the revised reporting.Prepare the monthly SG&A
reports for all departments and provide meaningful explanations of
actual variances vs budget.Meet with functional leaders across the
company, review variances and provide details when needed. Take
ownership of SG&A results during monthly close process by
performing detailed comprehensive review of expenses within
corporate cost centers Work with Accounting department during month
end close to provide overhead expense allocation by department
between the Meals Solutions and Flavor Enhancers businesses.Be a
key leader to implement controls for OH spending (Project spending,
CXO approval to key projects)Identify cost savings opportunities
related to overheads and make recommendation to CXO team.Support
FP&A managers by providing clear overhead and supply chain
overhead variance explanations by business for MTD & YTD actuals
vs. budget.Set-up, maintain and report on project spending for
Marketing and Research & Development groups and other departments
at Mizkan (help develop new process in D365)Lead the annual budget
process for SG&A and ensure all FP&A team and department
heads are aligned on targets. Effectively communicate any budget
cuts to department heads.Establish and maintain overhead allocation
methodology for the annual budget process.Upload the budget by cost
center/department and account in D365.Identify opportunities for
improvement, simplification and automation.Provide additional
support for ad-hoc analysis and special projects as
needed..--EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS:--A qualified
candidate will have strong communication and critical-thinking
skills, the ability to work cross-functionally with various levels
of personnel across the organization and deliver on
commitments.This candidate needs to work comfortably in a fast
paced, unpredictable environment where changing priorities may
occur frequently based on needs.The right candidate will
have:Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related degreeA
minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience including experience
working in the CPG industryFamiliarity with consolidation and
financial reportingStrong understanding of Dynamics 365Attention to
detail and accuracy is a mustAbility to understand issues,
demonstrate resourcefulness and pro-actively resolve problems in a
timely mannerStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle
multiple priorities and effectively meet deadlinesExcellent
planning and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a
fast paced and limited resource environmentStrong communication
skills including ability to provide guidance to internal team
members.Proficiency in Excel required.Self-motivated and
self-directed, must have demonstrated ability to work well with
others in a team environment.--
