Job Description:
We are partnering with a Freight Forwarder seeking an Ocean
Freight Specialist to join their team in Illinois.
Responsibilities; Handling and processing daily sales inquiries
Preparing quotations Responsible for all Ocean shipments Work with
forwarders on daily basis Liaise with Freight Department Arranging
and booking cargo space with carriers Negotiating rates with
freight forwarders and shipping lines Track and manage shipments -
Actively engage in cost control and cost management for all
shipments and bookings Provide administrative support for all
bookings and contracts Build relationships with our ocean
transportation providers Job Requirements:Skills Required;
Experience in freight forwarding industry in Ocean Freight Computer
skills, including good knowledge of Microsoft Office Experience
dealing with customers General administrative skills Detail
oriented and organized
