Position Purpose/Summary: The primary responsibility of the Quality Lead Technician is to monitor all manufacturing procesdures and inspect raw materials, packaging components, labels, and finished prducts to ensure compliance and accuracy. Direct Reports (or attach organization chart) Number and Position Titles) Knowledge-Skills-Abilities (minimum) Education: High School Diploma or equivalent - Required Experience: 3+ years experience working in a quality assurance/control setting Strongly Preffered 3+ years experience demonstrating effective skills in the following areas: Time Management Attention to Detail Critical Thinking/Problem Solving Skills Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team Basic Mathematical Comprehension Reading Various Measuring Devices, Such as: Calipers Rulers Micrometers Scales Training and mentoring team members. Technology/Software: Must posess basic computer skills and familiarization with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills Required. Position Responsibilities-Tasks-Deliverables

All duties as assigned and the following specific activities. Provides day to day direction to the QA inspectors on the assigned shift Administers training / retraining to the team of QA inspectors Assists investigating non-conformances and provides findings to the Quality Supervisor and/or Manager Inspect packaging components and labels at receipt to verify conformance to specification Inspect in process and finished product, using a statistical sampling plan, to verify conformance to specifications such as weight, volume, torque, etc. Understand and follow company procedures and policies for inspecting materials and finished product established in compliance with cGMP Complete and file required documentation and maintain accurate, neat files for tracking in compliance with cGMP Communicate inspection failures and non-conformances to QA Supervisor or Production Supervisor. Follow QA Supervisors instructions for handling non-conforming material or product Understand and follow written instructions provided in company policies and procedures. Notify the QA and/or Production supervisor of any deviations to the procedure or specifications Obtain instructions and approval for handling deviations or discrepant materials and product prior to initiating action Performs other jobs as requested Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) On-going outcome that is measurable Displays exceptional attention to detail when performing inspections as required. Demonstrates workplace safety awareness by adhering to company safety policies and procedures. Effectivly and clearly communicates all inspection failures and non-conformances to direct supervisors.

Knowledge-Skills-Abilities (minimum) Education: High School or GED equivalent

Experience: At least 2 years specific topic experience and the following: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Strong mathematical ability required. Propensity to create and maintain organized work flow and output. Strong attention to detail in communication, data integrity, timeliness, and accuracy. Conscientious to manage multiple tasks, inquiries, and work expectations so as to meet quality standards; typically occurring in a dynamic work setting requiring capability to adjust focus. Problem solves so as to identify, define, and offer solutions. Self-directed work out put initiative is expected. Successful at creating positive work relationships with others to achieve desired results. Trained to recognize personal action steps or learning effort so as to demonstrate proper accountability towards one's results.

Technology/Software (years): Proficient with Microsoft Office; Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook

Communication: Strong leadership skills with a proactive attitude. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written required. Ability to interact and to manage conflict in stressful situations while maintaining composure and perspective. Ability to work cooperatively and professionally with others. Must be able to work a flexible schedule Bilingual Spanish/English a plus

Physical Capabilities (add lines as needed) Strength (lifting, dexterity, repetitive motion): ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Hands on inspection of assigned project, including touching, reading, and comprehension which may occur repetitively.

Movement (standing, stopping, sitting, crouching, crawling): 85% walking through production lines and on the production floor providing Quality oversight; 15% committed to more stationary actions including desk work, computer focus, or attending meetings.

Hearing (loud noise tolerance, quiet work area, public speaking, receive work direction): work environment is not overly exposed to any hearing triggers or elevated sounds. Expected to be able to absorb verbal work direction or machine cues.

Vision (judge distance, read signs, extended computer work, identify details): Imperative to be able to have excellent visual functionality to meet job task output for quality standards.
