As a Product Owner in Dremel, you are responsible for defining
and developing the Dremel's DIY new product roadmap and related
commercialization plans globally to achieve goals of sales, profit,
and market share of product categories and market segments, in
collaboration with fellow product owners and the business owner of
the group. You will work with a cross-functional team, including
Engineering, Marketing, Quality, and Sales, defining multi-year
commercialization plans globally.
You ensure growth plans are consistent with business unit annual
and strategic targets. You will lead product and roadmap definition
globally, and align with regional marketing leads to ensure
regional needs are included.
The Product Owner also serves as the organizations' expert and
lead on relevant DIY tools for internal and external (e.g.
You will own the product vision for your assigned product group,
including product backlog, prioritization, acceptance criteria and
approves/rejects deliverables from project teams.
+ Minimum of 8 years Product management experience and strong
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred in Business, Engineering,
Economics or Communications, MBA as a plus but not required
+ Understanding and steering for product development (vision,
development, backlog, etc..) including value stream
+ User focused and purpose driven with a working knowledge in
User Experience and Design Thinking methods
+ Strong communication skills, with the ability to persuade and
gain attention, resources and support of team and other parties
+ Demonstrate optimism and enthusiasm, able to motivate and act
as "one of the team"
