strong growth into the future. Field Technician The Field
Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and
repairing equipment or systems at customer locations. This role
involves on-site visits to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and
upgrades, often requiring technical knowledge and hands-on skills.
The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving abilities,
strong customer service skills, and a solid understanding of the
equipment or systems they work with Key Responsibilities: -
Installation, configuration, troubleshooting and customization of
MS Office Suite applications per customer's preferences - Configure
file, print, and remote access services - Administration, including
add/remove users and groups, configure file permissions, check
event logs, configure and restore from backup - Backup Maintenance
- Ability to provide accurate time estimates for how long a task
will take - Ability to quickly learn new technologies using
self-study materials and intuition Key Qualifications: - Experience
required with Windows desktop operating systems - Understanding of
TCP/IP and troubleshooting Internet connectivity - Experience with
routers and firewalls - Experience with Terminal Services -
Understanding of relationship between switches, patch panels and
connecting nodes to a network - Understanding of DNS services -
Working Knowledge of Non-Cisco Firewall Technologies - SonicWALL,
Linksys, NetGear - Working Knowledge of Wireless Technologies -
Education in Networking is great, but experience, passion and
culture will win the day - Net and Sec are required within the
