Job DetailsJob Location: Allied Benefit Systems - CHICAGO, ILPosition Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $110000.00 - $120000.00 SalaryJob Category: Information TechnologyDescriptionPOSITION SUMMARYWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing BI solutions using Microsoft technologies and Domo. This person will work closely with stakeholders to transform data into insights that drive business decisions.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain interactive reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Domo and Microsoft BI Tools, including Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Domo.
  • Design and implement ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS to consolidate data from various sources into a central data warehouse.
  • Ensure data accuracy, quality, and integrity by developing and executing data validation and cleansing processes.
    • Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures to support BI activities and reporting requirements.
    • Maintain and manage large datasets, ensuring high performance and availability.
      • Work closely with IT and business teams to align BI initiatives with organizational goals.
      • Provide training and support to business users on BI tools and data-driven decision making.
        • Stay current with the latest BI technologies and trends.
        • Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance the BI infrastructure.EDUCATION
          • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology or equivalent work experience required.EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
            • 7+ years of proven experience as a BI Developer or similar role, with a focus on Microsoft technologies and Domo required
            • Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, and SSIS.
            • Demonstrated expertise in developing reports and dashboards using Power BI and/or other Microsoft tools.
            • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and create actionable insights.
            • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effectively interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
              • Experience with other data visualization tools is a plus.
              • Hands-on experience with Domo's BI platform.
              • Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions such as Azure.
              • Understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
              • Microsoft Certifications in relevant areas (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) are a plus.POSITION COMPETENCIES
