Job Description OPPORTUNITY: We are seeking a Board-Certified/Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician for a Full-Time position to join our group, Illinois Emergency Medicine Specialists (IEMS). Work schedule includes at least 120 hours of coverage per month and will be cross credentialed at our UChicago Medicine AdventHealth locations. EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT: IEMS provides emergency medicine services at four of the AdventHealth locations in Chicago: Glen Oaks Medical Center, Hinsdale Medical Center, La Grange Medical Center, and Bolingbrook Medical Center. We provide 24/7/365 coverage at all of our sites and staff with board certified emergency medicine physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants. All sites are trauma level II designated, operate off of Cerner as their EMR and are staffed with excellent specialty backup, supportive nursing staff and administrative staff. Most recently acquired Resilience Healthcares sites at Weiss Memorial Hospital and West Suburban Medical Center in downtown Chicago. Illinois Emergency Medicine Specialists (IEMS) is in partnership with AMITA Health Adventist in covering emergency departments at multiple facilities all within an hour from downtown Chicago: Bolingbrook Medical Center is a 138-bed hospital that has been serving the community since 2008 and is less than 40 minutes from downtown Chicago. In addition to a full spectrum of modern-day health care, Bolingbrook Medical Center also provides services within a pain management center and Hepatitis C clinic. Hinsdale Medical Center is a 261-bed hospital that has been serving the community for over 100 years and is less than 30 minutes from downtown Chicago. Full spectrum of modern-day health care including state-of-the-art cancer center, Level III Perinatal services with neonatal intensive care unit and surgical capabilities that include da Vinci and MAKO robotic assisted surgery. Glen Oaks Medical Center is a 143-bed hospital that has been serving the community for over 40 years and is less than an hour from downtown Chicago. In addition to a full spectrum of modern-day health care, Glen Oaks Medical Center also provides services within a therapeutic day school and Hepatitis C clinic. La Grange Medical Center is a 186-bed hospital that has been serving the community since 1955 and is less than 30 minutes from downtown Chicago. University-Level care at a suburban scale.
