$2,560 to $2,720 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8
hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the
Position Pay Rate: $64.00 - $68.00/Hourly. Summary: We are looking
for a skilled and dedicated MRI technician to be responsible for
providing clear images to Physicians through MRI scanning. The MRI
technician's responsibilities include following Physicians'
instructions, explaining the MRI procedure to patients, selecting
software options and imaging parameters on the MRI machine, viewing
images from the imaging session, and keeping records of reports.
Responsibilities: Performs procedures or examinations under the
order of a licensed medical practitioner for diagnostic
interpretation. Prepares patient for procedures. Provides patient
instruction to obtain desired results, gain cooperation, and
minimize anxiety. Applies principles of magnetic resonance safety
to minimize risk to patient, self and others. Selects and operates
the magnetic resonance system, surface coils, physiologic gating
devices, and associated equipment to achieve desired results.
Positions the patient and equipment to best demonstrate the
anatomic area of interest, respecting patient ability, safety and
comfort. Immobilizes patients as required for appropriate
examination. Selects appropriate pulse sequences with consideration
given to established protocols and other factors influencing data
acquisition parameters. Performs venipuncture, starts and maintains
venous access. Prepares and administers contrast media. Verifies
consent/screening form. Uses appropriate scripting, barriers and
identifiers. Assists the physician with interventional procedures.
Practices aseptic technique and observes universal precautions.
Requirements Requirements: 2 - Year experience Required, Graduate
of an accredited radiography program, EPIC experience Required, BLS
Certification, ARRT (MR) Certification, ARRT (R) Certification.
