Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Chicago, IL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,244 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/31/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience in ICU License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Experience in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, care of ventilated patients, and titration of IV drips. Description: Position is for an RN in the Intensive Care Unit. The shift is three 12-hour days from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. There is no block scheduling allowed. Every other weekend coverage is required, with a total of 2 weekends per month. Requests for time off are limited to 5 days maximum, with no more than 2 consecutive days. There is no time off allowed on holidays or the day before and after holidays. All clinicians must float within scope to meet facility needs as it is a mandatory float facility. ICU nurses may float to multiple ICU units, as well as to medical-surgical units if needed. Orientation and precepting will take place on the day shift during the first week. Clinicians must provide proof of vaccinations one week before the start date. No exemptions are allowed for the flu vaccine, except for medical or religious reasons. The candidate should be responsive and provide timely updates on all required items. Failure to be responsive may result in inability to continue with the assignment. Modules, which are non-billable and average 4 hours, must be completed prior to the start of the assignment. Any modules completed while on assignment will be billable.
