registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience
required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not
be considered. A registered nurse with specialized experience in
the operating room is needed for an 8-week contract position in
Waukegan, IL. This role offers the opportunity to work within a
skilled surgical team, focusing on ophthalmology and general
surgery utilizing DaVinci robotic technology. Qualifications and
Desired Experience: Active Illinois RN license Minimum 2 years of
operating room nursing experience Proficiency in ophthalmology and
use of DaVinci robotic surgery equipment Experience with Epic
electronic health records system At least one previous travel
contract assignment completed Current BLS certification
Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care in the
operating room setting, ensuring patient safety and adherence to
clinical protocols Collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams
during ophthalmology and general surgical procedures Support
robotic surgery cases using DaVinci technology with expertise and
precision Complete required documentation using Epic system
efficiently Participate in on-call rotation, responding promptly
within 30 minutes when on duty Location Highlights: Waukegan is
just north of Chicago and offers convenient access to metropolitan
amenities while retaining a smaller community atmosphere. This area
provides diverse dining, shopping, and recreational activities near
Lake Michigan, making it a desirable place to live and work.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (40 hours per week)
Weekend on-call rotation (approximately 8-10 days, including
weekends) Orientation available any weekday Contract Details:
Duration: 8 weeks Competitive assignment with a strong team
environment Required clearances and credentials due prior to start
(CBC, DS, QuantiFERON Gold within 90 days) This contract offers the
