As an MRI Technologist with Ascension, you will operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment, ensure patient safety, and support our mission of delivering high-quality healthcare solutions. Conduct high-quality MRI scans while ensuring the comfort and safety of patients. Explain MRI procedures to patients, answering any questions they may have to ease their concerns. Maintain MRI equipment and work area, ensuring cleanliness and functionality. Adhere to safety guidelines to protect patients and staff from undue exposure to magnetic fields and contrast agents. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to optimize imaging procedures and results. Document and maintain accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations. Expertise in operating MRI scanning machines Strong attention to detail for precise imaging Excellent patient care and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Capability to assess and adapt to varying patient needs Knowledge of safety standards and protocols related to MRI technology Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI. State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, if required by the state.
