Perform routine bus maintenance and inspections in adherence with standard checklists Diagnose mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic equipment and schematics Repair and replace damaged or defective parts after a thorough examination Respond to breakdowns and emergencies in a timely and effective manner Maintain and update records of maintenance and repair work Ensure all equipment and work areas are clean, safe, and organized Follow all safety procedures and protocols while completing work tasks Provide feedback and suggestions on improving maintenance procedures and schedules Proven ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic systems Experience with hydraulic and electric repairs Adept in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics Strong communication skills and detail-oriented Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k ASE Certification (Automotive Service Excellence) Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is a plus Ongoing technical training and certifications in vehicle or bus maintenance
