Description We are seeking dedicated Material Handlers with
experience in operating forklifts for our facilities. The primary
role involves loading and unloading trucks, with additional
responsibilities including maintaining inventory and ensuring
smooth operations at the docks. Responsibilities Follow all safety
procedures and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
Respond to alarms, identify, and troubleshoot issues. Maintain neat
and orderly staging areas. Move inventory to various locations
manually and using mechanical equipment, such as forklifts, pallet
jacks, and handcarts. Maintain proper documentation for materials,
including batches, material changes, and material locations. Assist
with physical inventory and perform cycle counts. Stage resins and
components to work orders and allocate materials to appropriate
production areas. Perform daily cleaning for all Blender/Dryer
filters and ensure Blenders/Dryers remain full and operational.
Complete necessary paperwork in a timely manner, including lot
changes, job verifications, and material verification reports. Plan
material and color changes according to the production schedule.
Communicate potential shortages to Warehouse Leadership and
Production. Control and maintain scrap generated by production.
Perform line clearances outside of the clean room. Fill out
inventory tags for restock of material after orders are complete.
Assemble cartons and containers using appropriate hand tools.
Assist with packaging and sealing molded and/or assembled products
per company and customer specifications. Ensure proper performance
of equipment related to resins and materials. Clean and maintain
auxiliary material handling systems and support equipment. Maintain
housekeeping of material loading areas and airlock. Operate
packaging equipment as required per product specifications and/or
work instructions. Complete Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
activities as needed. Follow instructions as required per ID sheets
and visuals. Other duties as assigned. Essential Skills At least 1
year of stand-up forklift experience or 5 years of sit-down
forklift experience. Proficiency with RF Scanners. Ability to work
a 12-hour rotating schedule. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Hyster stand-up forklifts. Past experience with

shift premium for night shifts. Work Environment Work in a dynamic
contract manufacturing environment, typically for the medical
industry. Our facilities include two buildings in Buffalo Grove and
a brand new site in Libertyville. We use Stand-Up (Hyster brand)
Forklifts and follow strict health, safety, and GMP standards. Job
Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of
Buffalo Grove, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position
is $19.50 - $21.45/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some
benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of
employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to
