Job Description

We are looking for a self-motivated candidate with a proven track record in software/technology consulting to join the software development expertise team. You should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges. In the Data Engineer position, you will have the following responsibility:

• Identify and evaluate the state-of-art data tools needed for the best fit to perform data engineering holistically.
• Perform proof-of-concept to validate the performance of identified data tools to introduce in a corporate environment.
• Building and maintaining data infrastructure, including data warehouses, data lakes, and batch and real-time processing systems.
• Automating the deployment and management of infrastructure using tools such as Ansible, Puppet, and Terraform.
• Ensuring data quality and integrity through testing and validation processes and optimizing data pipelines and infrastructure for performance and scalability.
• Troubleshooting and debugging issues with data pipelines and infrastructure. Qualifications
  
  Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred)
  • 5+ years of application data-intensive system development experience
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS (one or more Microsoft Azure or AWS certifications preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, and Scala.
  • 2+ years of experience in technological trend analysis
  • 2+ years of experience in designing and implementing data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from a variety of sources, such as databases, APIs, and flat files. Preferred Qualifications:
    • Keeping up to date with new technologies and best practices in data engineering.
    • Possess research skills to conduct thorough and comprehensive research to identify emerging data engineering trends and gather relevant information for decision-making.
    • Experience in analyzing customer demands and market trends to identify patterns and trends, and to draw conclusions and insights.
    • Posses networking skills, adapting to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
    • Experience with different types of databases and how to extract, transform, and load data from them.
    • Experience in designing and implementing efficient data models that can support the needs of data scientists and analysts. Knowledge of complete data modeling life-cycle.
    • Experience with Big data technologies and platforms such as Hadoop, Spark, Data bricks, and Snowflake. Additional Information
