This contract position offers a rewarding opportunity to provide occupational therapy services within an elementary school setting. Located in Aurora, IL, this role involves supporting a diverse caseload of 42-50 students, focused on promoting their functional independence and participation in the school environment. Key Details: - Location: Aurora, Illinois - Setting: Elementary School - Contract Duration: March 30, 2026 - June 5, 2026 - Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:20 a.m. to 2:35 p.m. - Caseload: 42-50 students Responsibilities: - Deliver occupational therapy interventions tailored to individual student needs to enhance fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care abilities. - Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that support student success. - Conduct evaluations and reassessments to monitor progress and adjust therapy goals accordingly. - Maintain detailed documentation and adhere to all school and regulatory compliance standards. - Provide guidance and support to classroom staff to facilitate accommodations within the learning environment. Qualifications: - Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience providing school-based therapy services. - Familiarity with Elementary School education systems and understanding of pediatric needs in a scholastic setting. - Strong caseload management skills and the ability to engage effectively with diverse student populations. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work alongside teachers, families, and school administration.
