A school psychologist position is available to provide essential psychological services within a school setting, supporting students from grades K-12. This contract role is located in Dekalb, IL, offering an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student achievement and well-being. Responsibilities: - Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12 - Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop intervention strategies and support plans - Provide individual and group counseling to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs - Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support special education processes and develop individualized education programs (IEPs) - Offer crisis intervention and prevention services when needed - Maintain accurate records and comply with all relevant laws and ethical standards Qualifications: - Masters or doctoral degree in school psychology or related field - Valid state certification or licensure as a school psychologist - Experience working with students across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels - Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention techniques - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse school communities - Ability to manage caseloads independently and maintain confidentiality Location: Dekalb, IL This contract opportunity allows a dedicated professional to contribute to the academic and emotional success of students in a supportive school environment.
