Job Description:
Clearing Operations Analyst - Chicago, IL ADM Investor Services,
Inc. Position Summary: The primary role of this Operations analyst
is to process spot dairy delivery transactions along with
processing customer requests. These requests may include (but not
limited to) allocating trades that have been executed in suspense
accounts; granting/maintaining customer portal access; broker
trade/position requests. Collaboration to discover efficiencies in
strongly encouraged. The Operations Analyst will report to the
Customer Service Team Lead. Job Responsibilities: Processing dairy
delivery transactions Insuring all trades in suspense accounts are
allocated prior to the end of the day Accept or reject trades
allocated to ADMIS prior to the end of the day Process
broker/customer requests including: Correcting trades entered into
the incorrect account Manually matching off trades/positions per
customer instructions Entering commission adjustments that have
been requested Granting/maintaining access to the customer portal
Entering/adjusting limits to the trade entry systems Process
improvement support Metrics/KPI tracking and reporting support Job
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in finance or data analytics (or
equivalent experience) Strong core data literacy including ability
to interpret charts/data/tables surrounding data
quality/assumptions Proficiency in data analysis and data
visualization techniques (Excel/PowerPoint/ Power BI or something
similar) Strong organization skills and attention to details
Ability to independently solve problems and knowing when to
escalate to the next level Strong communication (spoken and
written) skills for coordination, reporting and analysis with the
ability to explain analytical results to non-technical stakeholders
Listening skills Customer focused Comfortable working in a team
environment Promotes the ADM Way and Core Values Preferred
Qualifications (optional): Advanced Microsoft Offices skills
particularly in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, and dashboards)
Advanced database and analytics skills including SQL and experience
with BI reporting tools Experience working with large or complex
financial datasets, including data cleansing, reconciliation, and
validation Futures industry experience, particularly Operations
Familiarity with basic AI and machine-learning concepts relevant to
financial analysis Demonstrated ability to take ownership of
analytical projects, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
in a fast-paced environment Working knowledge of back and middle
