SENIOR PROJECT ACCOUNTANT ABOUT THE COMPANY Our client is a leading service organization in the Chicago land market; they are looking to add a Senior Project Accountant. With a large and growing accounting and finance team, there is significant opportunity for growth and advancement within the department. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR PROJECT ACCOUNTANT The Senior Project Accountant will assist with communicating with subcontractors. Assist with AR and AP Assist with AIA billing and lien waivers Record data concerning transfer of employees between departments. Prorate expenses to be debited or credited to each department for cost accounting records. Prepare periodic reports. EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE SENIOR PROJECT ACCOUNTANT ROLE: Construction experience Attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills At least 6 months of relevant experience Bachelor preferred Experience with ADP, Ceridian or Paychex is preferred
