Support the month-end close process, as well as provide support for quarter-end and year-end audits. Provide financial analysis/support for management and other departments as necessary.Key Responsibilities:--- Prepare monthly analysis of assigned accounts--- Responsible for general ledger entries for all assigned accounts--- Prepare monthly revenue analysis for assigned segment--- Provide any necessary information to assist in the monthly close process--- Review and approve consolidation of fixed assets--- Review and post all inventory adjustments for selected entities--- Assist with the processing of RMA's as assigned--- Assist in the training of less experienced finance team members--- Provide support to internal and external auditors as requested--- Participate in the execution of the company's financial budgeting and forecasting processes--- Analyze monthly financial performance, including variances to budgets and forecasts; prepare financial reporting information for management--- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis (such as profitability analysis, capital project analysis, financial modeling) to support strategic and tactical decisions--- Other special projects as assigned (i.e. support of annual physical inventory count)Qualifications:--- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required--- 5+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance required--- 2+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis required--- Experience working with fixed assets and inventory is preferred--- Strong experience with Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel, Word and Outlook required--- Great Plains experience preferred or similar general ledger software--- Experience with consolidated financial reporting and analysis tools such as Adaptive Insights preferred--- Sage FAS fixed asset software experience preferred or similar fixed assets software--- Excellent communications skills necessary, verbal and written --- Must be assertive and results driven and not afraid to ask questions--- Analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail is a must--- Must be able to act as a leader within the Accounting/Finance group - proactively assist and collaborate with team members, be able to answer questions and provide guidance to staff accountants.--- Must be able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
